October Issue

This October we honor Nederlander Entertainment CEO Alex Hodges with our lifetime achievement award, which will be presented at the Sports, Entertainment and Venues Tomorrow Conference in Columbia, S.C., Nov. 16-19. We also preview the upcoming IMEX America conference Oct. 11-13 in Las Vegas with a round-table discussion featuring the top meeting planners in the United States and profiles of new conventions and meetings on the rise. For our second year, we travel to the Carolinas to look at new construction and bookings in Durham, Charlotte and Columbia. And October is our final INTIX Quarterly issue for 2011, with features on new social media applications and the effect of the NBA lockout on arena box offices.  

November Issue

In November, Venues Today celebrates its fourth year co-producing the Sports, Entertainment and Venues Tomorrow Conference in conjuction with the University of South Carolina at the Columbia Convention Center, Nov. 16-18. November also includes our spotlight on Las Vegas venues, and photos from the International Entertainment Buyers Association in Nashville, Tenn. Every fall we ring up the world's top dirt show producers to get the skinny on the newest monster truck, motocross and bullriding outfits to hit the tour circuit.

December Issue

It's our end of the year issue here at Venues Today Magazine, and that means its time for our annual Hall of Headline Awards. Every December, our readers award their favorite industry professionals in the categories of News, Bookings, Marketing and Concessions. December includes our year-end charts measuring the top grossing shows and venues in North America. Our Year-End Hot Tickets charts track high-attendance shows by gross and size, while our Year-End Top Stops report ranks venues by non-tenant event grosses. Plus we wrap up the best ideas in promotions, the hot new bands for 2012 and forecast what lies ahead for the concert business.
