The conference provides a forum for industry professionals and students to discuss the changing role of analytics in the sports industry. Research papers are showcased at the conference, with some presented before a live audience. The best research paper is selected for a grand prize. Evolution of Sport talks present new messages or ideas; and at the First Pitch MBA Sports Business Case Competition, future sports business leaders present a solution to one of the conference sponsor's key business challenges.
